The great majority of the homeworks will be from George Roussas book, which is our mandatory book.
Typically homeworks will be assigned every Friday and due the next Friday. Each time, both the date when the respective homework is assigned and the date when the respective homework is due will be specified.
All homeworks will be submitted at the beginning of the class on the due date. Late homework will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Each homework will be graded in the following way: A certain number of exercises will be chosen and each will be assigned a grade  between 0 and 10. Then this grades will be averaged and this average will represent your grade for the respective homework, which of course will be also between 0 and 10.
At the end of the semester the two lowest homework scores will be dropped and the rest will be averaged  and arranged proportionally on a scale from 0 to 200. So practically a person who obtained the maximum of 10 points for each of the homeworks, at the end of the semester will have 200 points resulting from the homeworks.

Our grader will be Muhammad Irsyad Bin Mazlan and his email is mmazlan@purdue.edu. Any ordinary issues concerning the homeworks will be directly addressed to him. Do not hesitate to email him if you need to discuss any topic related to the homeworks.
