Course Credit
Students can receive Purdue credit for mathematics courses by passing credit exams, having credit evaluated for courses taken at other colleges, and by attaining certain scores on the AP Calculus exam.
Credit Via AP Exams and Transfer Credit

Credit Via Credit Exams
- Credit exams for MA 152, MA 153, MA 154, MA 158 or 159.
- Credit exams for Mathematic for Elementary Teachers (MA 137, MA 138, MA 139)
- Credit exams for Science Calculus (MA 165, MA 166. MA 261, MA 262, MA 265, MA 266) .
- Credit exams for Technical Calculus (MA 220, MA 221, MA 222, MA 223, MA 224).
- Credit exams for upper level mathematics courses (MA 351, MA 362, MA 375 and MA 385).
Indiana high schools may offer the credit exams discussed below. High school students who pass these exams and who plan to attend Purdue may get credit for the corresponding courses at Purdue.
