Advanced credit exam information
Please note: credit exam procedures have changed as of May 2014.
Students can take advanced credit exams to receive Purdue Credit for select undergraduate courses. Exams cannot be
taken for elective credit, they can only be taken for credit in a course that is required by the student's plan of study.
Your advisor must give you a completed Mathematics Advanced Credit Exam Authorization Form before you can register for an exam.
Credit exams are not open to students who have received a grade in the course (or an equivalent course) or are currently taking the course (after the first exam). Students with W in a course are permitted to take the credit exam.
