Upper Level Mathematics Courses Credit Exams
The credit exams are not open to students who have received a grade in the course (or an equivalent course), or are currently taking the course (after the first exam). Students with W in a course are permitted to take the credit exam.
During the first four weeks of the Fall and Spring semesters the Department of Mathematics Undergraduate Office (MATH 242) will schedule these exams. Students who wish to take an exam must make an appointment in the Undergraduate Office (MATH 242). They must bring a Form 231 from their advisor and a photo ID to the exam.
Credit Policy
Credit exams are available for MA 351, MA 362, MA 375 and MA 385. In order to take these exams, the student must present a Form 231 and have permission of the Chairman of the Mathematics Undergraduate Committee. Students have one try to pass these exams.
