Professor Guang Lin named as a University Faculty Scholar.

12-10-2018

The University Faculty Scholar program, created at Purdue in 1998, recognizes outstanding associate and full professors at the West Lafayette campus who have been in that rank for no more than five years and are on an accelerated path toward academic distinction.

Professor Guang Lin, with previous awards including the NSF Career Award (2016) and the Mathematical Biosciences Institute Early Career Award (2015), focuses his research to develop high-order numerical algorithms and to design highly-scalable numerical solvers on supercomputers in order to discover new knowledge and develop predictive modeling for critical decision making in complex physical and biological complex systems.

Congratulations to Professor Guang Lin.
