Main professional experience

inverse problems and microlocal analysis, and applications in reflection seismology, global seismology, and geodynamics [focusing on the study of Earth's sedimentary basins, subduction, continental upper mantle, deep mantle interfaces, D'']
  • multi-dimensional imaging, inverse scattering, and tomography;
  • development of multiscale methods and nonlinear theories of generalized functions applied to wave scattering and inverse scattering in media of low regularity, and in highly discontinuous and random media;
  • coupled multi-physics modelling;
  • computational modeling of acoustic, elastic and electromagnetic wave phenomena in complex media; development of approaches based on techniques from microlocal analysis and computational harmonic analysis combined.
