My main research interests are Analysis and Partial Differential Equations. In particular, I am currently investigating the structure of solutions of systems of hyperbolic conservation laws using techniques of geometric measure theory. I have also been working on developing an analytical theory for a class of weakly differentiable vector fields; namely, divergence-measure fields. These are fields whose distributional divergence is a signed Radon measure. I am also interested in the analysis of nonlinear acoustic wave equations as well as their numerical modeling using finite element methods.
