Useful Software
SSH Clients
- To connect to the Math servers, secure connections must be used.
- Purdue's Engineering Computer Network has SSH clients available for Purdue faculty, staff, and students. You need to login with your Purdue username and password.
- We recommend SSH Client 3.x (SSHWinClient). Once the SSH client is installed, create a connection to any of the math servers.

FTP Clients
- To connect to the Math servers, secure FTP connections must be used.
- Purdue's Engineering Computer Network has SFTP clients available for Purdue faculty, staff, and students.
Virus Protection and Security
Purdue Information Technology (Purdue IT) has virus protection software and various security-related software packages available for download for Purdue faculty, staff, and students. A career account login and password are required.Equation Editing and Cross Platform Access
The College of Engineering has a download site for Purdue University Site Licensed Software (PULS), including Cross Platform Access, Equation Editing software and Hummingbird Exceed. A career account login and password are required.
