Course Overview

All assignment, exam and quiz dates will appear in the section calendar. This is subject to change, so please check back regularly. Important changes will be announced in class.

There will be four quizzes and two midterm exams (in class).

Grading: Your grade will be based on a total of 600 points distributed as follows:

No makeup quizzes or exams will be given unless you have a valid documented excuse and you notify me in advance of your absence.

Homeworks and Projects

Assignments will be set each week and are due the following Tuesday. Please turn in hand-graded homework at the beginning of class.

You can use either the 9th or 10th edition of the textbook in this class. Note that some assignment questions have different numberings depending on the edition you use. You should check the department webpage for details.

Late homework will not be accepted unless you have a valid documented excuse.
