Textbook: Introduction to Real Analysis,
4th Edition,
by Robert G. Bartle and Donald R. Sherbert, Wiley
We will cover chapters 1-7 minus certain sections plus
a little bit of 8.
The AFTERMATH -- notes from Bell's tablet PC during lecture and lecture videos.
You can bring TWO two-sided crib sheets of standard sized
paper handwritten only on both sides.
I'll supply the paper. You only need pencils, an eraser,
and your crib sheets.
The Final exam covers all the book sections in the homework
readings below, including 8.1-8.3. It is a closed books,
no notes, no electronics exam.
Here are some practice problems for the final exam,
thanks to MIT Open Course Ware for 18.100A:

for more great study material.
Exam 2 was a take-home exam available on Gradescope at
5:00 pm on Monday, April 15 and due in Gradescope at
11:00 pm on Friday, April 19.
It covered the material up to Friday, April 12.
The rules of Exam 2 were that you could only consult the
textbook, the AFTERMATH lectures, and your own notes.
You had to work alone. No electronic searches, AI, or
calculators, etc.
The best way to prepare for the exam was to keep up
with the reading and to go over homework problems,
especially the ones since Exam 1. The following
practice problems on the Fundamental theorem of
Calculus were also recommended:
7.3: p. 224: 9, 11a, 14
Exam 1 was in-class on Wed, Feb 28. It was a closed books,
no notes, no electronics exam covering
Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4.1
You could bring one two-sided crib sheet of standard sized
paper handwritten only on both sides. I supplied the paper.
You only needed pencils, an eraser, and your crib sheet.
