Exam Stuff
Our final exam is Friday, May 6th from 7-9PM in ARMS 1010. Here are some Review Questions for the final exam.
Solutions to Exam 2. (Both Sections)
Exam 2 will be on Friday, Apr. 22nd in class. It will cover everything we've done in lecture from the last exam until Monday, Apr. 18th.
As with the last exam, the best thing you can do to prepare for exam 2 is to make sure you understand every problem from HW that has been assigned. This is everything from HW13 until the last assignment. After you've gone back over all these assignments and understand everything so well that you could easily explain it to a fellow classmate and you still are itching to do some calculations you are welcome to try the following problems: Sec. 4.2 #1-64, Sec. 4.3 #1-53, Sec. 7.2 #1-25 and Sec. 7.3 # 1-29. Notice that there are topics covered in the HW assignments that are not covered in Sec. 4.2,4.3,7.2,7.3.
Solutions to Exam 1. (Both Sections)
Exam 1 will be on Monday, Feb. 28th in class. It will cover everything we've done in lecture from the first day until Feb. 23. This will roughly correspond to Chapters 1-3 in the textbook.
We will review in class half of Wednesday and all of Friday. This means that you ask any questions if you have them, and if you don't I'll ask you some questions. In order to prepare for the exam you should (i) Go back and make sure you understand every HW problem I've assigned. Do the same thing with the quizzes (for both classes). Then, if you still want to think about linear algebra, you can try some of the following problems:
