Homework:

Homeworks will be collected every Tuesday in class and some of them will be graded. Attendance and doing homework assignments are very important for your success in this class.

Tests:

There are three in-class midterm exams and a comprehensive final exam. Calculators, books and notes are not allowed during the exams.

Grading Policy:

100 points for each mid-term exam, 200 points for the final exam and 100 points for homeworks.

Make-up Policy:

There will be no make-up exams except in extreme circumstances (such as: death in immediate family, military obligation, etc.) at the discretion of the instructor. The instructor has to be informed in advance by e-mail. You will be asked to provide proper documentation.

Attendance:

Class attendance is expected and I'll "spot check" attendance throughout the semester. I may deduct up to 5% of your grade if you miss more than two of those random checks.
