¡Bienvenido!

I am a PhD. Candidate in Mathematics at Purdue University currently working with Prof. Plamen Stefanov. I am mainly interested in mathematical problems that have their insight in practical problems. My primary area of research is inverse problems.

A typical inverse problem is to recover the coefficients of a PDE (i.e., physical properties that we are interested in obtained, like medium propagation, internal density function, etc), from measurements on the boundary of the domain, or at infinity. In general this problems are highly non-linear and ill posed.

I like the type of mathematics that intertwine with other fields of science like physics, computer science and biology.

Recent Work

I am currently working on stability problems for Hybrid Inverse Problems with applications to medical imaging.

I recently submitted a conference paper to SIGGRAPH 2013 in my research work at CVVL (Computer Vision and Visualization Lab).
