About Me

Picture of Doug I'm Doug Babcock, but you probably knew that already. I'm 25 years old and I grew up in Sun Prairie, WI. Now I live in West Lafayette, IN. I am a graduate student in mathematics at Purdue University here. That's my picture there on the right.

Some of my primary interests are mathematics, computers, learning, teaching, music, card games, and meeting a wide variety of people.

I listen to a lot of music of many different types. My favorite musical group is Pink Floyd (as you may have gathered from the picture). I also greatly enjoy Nine Inch Nails. Many of my favorite songs are rock songs from the 1960s and 1970s, particularly those with a psychedelic feel. Ten of my favorite songs, in no particular order, are:
