I've been working on properties of Selmer groups for elliptic curves using class groups of number fields, as well as properties of Dessins d'Enfants.

I am a member of the Human Resources Advisory Committee (HRAC) at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI) in Berkeley, CA. I maintain my own blog about Dessins d'Enfants. I'm also a blogger for the e-Mentoring Network in the Mathematical Sciences Blog, a weblog sponsored by the American Mathematical Society (AMS).

- On April 11, 2015, I will give a joint presentation with Alejandra Alvarado at Latinos in the Mathematical Sciences Conference on Applying to Summer Programs, Fellowships, and Graduate School in the Mathematical Sciences.
- From July 20--24, 2015, I will be a research seminar leader for the Research Experiences for Undergraduate Faculty at the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM) in Providence, RI.
- From August--December, 2015, I will be on sabbatical in attendance at the Computational Aspects of the Langlands Program at the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM) in Providence, RI.
