Calculus 1000A: Section 007

Midterm exam (35% of grade): 21 October 2011 (Friday), 7--10pm

Here are the multiple choice answers for the midterm.

Final exam (50% of grade): 19 December 2011 (Monday), 9:00am--12:00 noon
The exam covers up to and including section 6.2.

Instructions for final exam:

  • Bring your (i) student ID, (ii) a pencil, and (iii) a blue or black pen.
  • Students will not be admitted to the exam after 9:30am (according to Western regulations).
  • Please be sure to find your exam room a few days before the exam, so you don't get lost.
  • No calculators, closed book, and closed notes.
Format of final exam:
  • The exam is out of 100 points.
  • (50 points): 25 multiple choice questions (2 points each).
  • (50 points): 7 long answer questions (some are 5 points, some are 10 points).

Weekly quizzes (15% of grade): There will be 9 quizzes (in class) approximately 20 minutes each and similar to the homework problems and lecture examples. The 4 lowest quizzes will be dropped. No make-up quizzes. Quizzes will be announced at least one lecture before and will not start until the week of 19 September.

Homework: Homework will be assigned each lecture but not collected. Please be sure to work through and complete all of the assignments.
