Welcome to Bill Heinzer's home page. This picture of my wife Mary Ann and me was taken by Sylvia Wiegand in July 1996. Mary Ann died Friday, July 18, 2008 after a 9 year battle with cancer.
I am a Professor in the Mathematics Department of Purdue University. My primary research interest is Commutative Algebra (with related interest in Algebraic Geometry, Computational Algebra, and Homological Algebra). |
