MA 36200 Topics in Vector Calculus

Textbook: Vector Calculus, by Marsden & Tromba, 6th Edition, Freeman.

Syllabus: We will cover most of the text. The course objectives are for you to understand the concepts and become adept in applying vector calculus.

Grading policy:
There will be two midterm exams and one final. Each midterm will be worth 100 points, the final will be 200 points, and the homework grade will be scaled to 100 points, making a total of 500 points for the whole course.

Homeworks:
The assignment is weekly. Homework for the previous week will be due on Wednesday before class. Only some problems will be graded, however you should write out the solution for each one of them.
