Course Information

  • Extra Review Classes : Tuesday/Thursday, 3:00pm-4:00pm, MSLC SEO 430 (Backup place: SEO 7th floor computer lab).
  • Final Exam : Friday, August 6th., 10:00am-12:00am, BSB 331.

  • Our textbook : Multivariable Calculus: Early Transcendentals, by Jon Rogawski, W. H. Freeman. Here is the picure.
  • Homework: You may find Homework Assignments on the official website. Your homework will be collected in the Monday's class and handed out in the Friday's class every week (6 week in total except the first week and the last week). Each homework is worth 5 points. You are encouraged to use solution manual at MSLC to check your homework.
  • Quizes: Quizes will be given on every Monday in lecture (except the first week) and will be graded and handed out on the following Friday's lecture. The time for quizes is about 20 minutes. Each quize is worth 10 points and covers all lecutres of previous week. We will have 7 quizes in total this semester.

    This semester, we have 7 quizes (10 points for each), 7 homeworks (5 points for each), 2 midterm exams (100 for each), 1 final exam (200 points) and labs (70 points). The total points is 575.
    A,B,C,D and F are given by the following standard:
    Grades % of total points
    A : above 80%
    B : above 70%
    C : above 60%
    D : above 55%
    F : less than 55%
