General Information:

This is the webpage for my recitation section which meets at 2:30pm on TTh.

My office hours: My office hours will be held in my office in Math 615 on Thursdays from 10:30 - 11:30 AM

Quizzes:

Quizzes will be administered every Thursday beginning 8/25/2011. There will be no make up quizzes.

Homework:

Homework will be turned in to me on Thursday beginning 8/30/2011, and I will grade it. I will generally return the homework within 1 week of the day the homework was turned in.

• 9/18/2011:

  Following the quiz on Thursday, I spoke with a few students who were confused as to the relation between the Mean Value Theorem for Definite Integrals (which was on the quiz) and the Mean Value Theorem for Derivatives (which you should have seen in the past). It turns out that the MVT for Definite Integrals follows from a simple application of the MVT for Derivatives. If you're interested, I have provided a proof. If you're not interested, then there's no need to worry about it (:

  Please, please, please, staple your homeworks before you turn them into me. I haven't said anything about this previously, but it took me 15 minutes just to sort the second set of homework papers.
