International Students

The Actuarial Program encourages applications from international students. We typically have a large representation of students from many different nations and many different continents in the program. In fact, Purdue University currently has one of the largest populations of international students in the United States. The Office of International Students and Scholars (ISS) offers a broad range of services, including orientation programs, help with visas, applications, links to over 35 international student organizations on campus, etc.

Please see Purdue's official admissions information for international students.

We also have both CPT and OPT programs for international students doing summer internships. To participate in the CPT program, after obtaining an internship offer, students register for Professional Practice, MA 091 or 092 or 093 or 094 for the summer session and pay for one hour of class work for the summer. They then get the Director of Actuarial Sciences to sign the CPT form which is available from the ISS. They will require a copy of the letter offering the internship. For more information, contact the ISS.
