Homeworks

We will mainly use the WileyPlus online homework system, you will need an access code (comes with a new book).

Handwritten homowork problems are posted here.

Exams:

There are three in-class midterm exams on Feb. 6, Mar. 4 and Apr. 8, and a comprehensive final exam.

The exams may include partial credit problems and multiple choice problems. Calculators, books and notes (unless specified otherwise) are not allowed during the exams.

Grading Policy:

15% for homework assignments and computer projects.

15% for each mid-term exam.

40% for the final exam.

Class attendance is required.  I'll "spot check" attendance throughout the semester.  I may deduct up to 5% of your grade if you miss more than one of those random checks.

Make-up for exams will only be granted to students who have convincing excuses and have informed the instructor in advance.
