About me

I am an assistant Professor at Purdue. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Sharif University of technology in Tehran. I obtained my Ph.D. under supervision of Søren Galatius from Stanford in 2015. Between 2015 and 2016, I was in Michael Weiss’ group and after that I was a Boas assistant professor at Northwestern University. Before coming to Purdue, I was in University of Copenhagen in 2019-2020.

My research interests in general include applications of homotopy theory in studying moduli space of geometric structures and in particular foliated manifold bundles, homological stability and stable homology of moduli spaces, automorphism groups of manifolds.

My research is partially supported by NSF CAREER Grant DMS-2239106 and a Simons Foundation Collaboration Grant (855209).

I am co-organizing Purdue topology seminar.
