    ------ Some Documents

  • [dvi] Some local-global non-vanishing results for theta lifts from orthogonal groups (Ph.D Thesis), Apr. 2006.

This is my Ph.D thesis at the University of Pennsylvania although this version is single-spaced and the submitted version is double-spaced. This is essentially more detailed and self-contained version of the above paper with the same title together with the following two things: (1) This one has the correct margins satisfying the university criteria, the official front cover, expanded acknowledgements, etc. (2) It has Appendix B, in which I gave a simple proof of a certain known theorem.

  • [dvi, pdf] List of Errata for "Automorphic Forms and Representations" by D. Bump, Mar. 2005. (Revised in Jul. 2005)

I learned basics of automorphic representations from the book "Automorphic Forms and Representations" by D. Bump especially from June 2004 to Dec 2004. When I was reading this book, I found numerous typos and ended up with making this list. Although you can find a list of errata in author's webpage, the errata there are basically for the hardcover edition, which have been already corrected in the paperback edition. This list is for the paperback edition. NOTE: Some of the mistakes pointed out in this list might not be a mistake at all but rather just my, most likely mathematical, misunderstanding. So please use it at your own risk.

  • Internal languages in categories, Jun. 2001.

This is my master's thesis at SFSU, which is essentially about certain logical or set theoretical languages defined for a certain class of categories such as topos. It is 98% a survey of what was known previously, and 2% original. No file is available because all the files were in the hard drive of my old laptop, which was stolen a few years ago. If you really really really want to read it, please check it out from the SFSU library.
