There are theorems after my name in Algebraic Geometry, Commutative Algebra, Fourier Series
( A Tauberian Theorem joint with A Beuring) and I have a patent right on Encription from USA and Taiwan. I have an interest in
coding theory although I only taught a course on that subject. My interests in Algebraic Geometry are mainly Embedding theory
of affine space to higher dimensional one, resolution theory ( after Hironaka) and Jacobian conjecture.
Education:
I have served as an editor of the `University Mathematics' series of
World Scientific Publishing Co, and an editor of `University Mathematics'
series of Linking Publishing Co of Taiwan. Some twenty books by
some outstanding scholars (as S.S.Chern, S.T.Yau, Y.T.Siu, H.H.Wu, W.Y.Hsiang,
T.L.Lai, W.C.Li etc) are published or planed to be published soon under these
two serieses.
Under the leadership of Dean Kliever, I had been instrumental in setting up co-operative relations between Purdue U and Peking U, USTC, and Mathematical
Institute of Nankai U with the helps of President S.S.Ding of Peking U,
President C.H.Guu of USTC, and Prof S.S.Chern, the Director of Mathematical
Institute of Nankai U. Under the leadership of
Dean Morrison, I had been instrumental in setting up co-operative relations
between Purdue U and National U of Taiwan with the help of President W.C.Chen,
a high school classmate, of NTU.

My interests in the liberal arts are mainly in classical Chinese
literatures. I had served as the Publisher of a Chinese literature
magazine `Square', where Nobel prize laureate Mr X Guo contributed several
articles. I had contributed to numerous
Chinese newspapers and magazines published in Taiwan, HongKong and U.S.A. under
pen names. I have published an essay entitled
`Chinese figures before 2001' which consists of
my interviews of some important Chinese artists, authors, scholars , and
political figures.
I was a member of `Peace Union', one of the groups which were the spearhead
of the anti-war movement of U.S.A..
I enjoy art collecting, bridge, `Go', chess (Western, Indian or Chinese), travel and gardening.
