1. Go to http://www.citiprogram.org [www.citiprogram.org] 2. Click the "Register" button to "Create an account". I'll walk you through the registration: 3. Click "Search for organization". In other words, if you type Purdue University in the box, it will find Purdue University. Then click "Continue to Step 2". 4. Enter your name and your Purdue email address. Please really use your Purdue email (please NOT gmail, etc.). 5. Create a username and password. Password and username does NOT need to be the same as your Purdue Career Account. 6. As you prefer, enter your gender, ethnicity, and race, if desired. 7. Answer "no", because you are NOT interested in the option of receiving Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit. You can also say "no", you do not want CITI to contact you at a later date. 8. There are some specific questions from Purdue on this page. 9. The pages of questions about which course(s) you want is initially the confusing part, because there are a LOT of courses to choose from. You only need 1 specific course: "RCR for Undergraduate Students". It is in Section 2, at least for me. Search for "RCR". The undergraduate course is the only one you click. All the other things, Biomedical <--- not needed!! Social and Behavioral <--- not needed!! Refresher for Investigators <--- not needed!! Etc., etc., etc....... 10. In the end, it should say, Your registration with Purdue University is complete. Then they send you an email to your Purdue address, to verify that you are who you say you are! Now that you have registered, you can go to the main menu and click on the course "RCR for Undergraduate Students", take the training. It does not take too long. At the end, after the training is over, you can click "Print Report". Bring the printout to me like a HW assignment.
