Date: Fri, 05 Nov 93 07:28:18 CST From: Lu Bozinovich Cranberry-Apple-Raisin filling 4 granny smith apples, cored, chopped small, and steamed until tender 1 c. (or 2 c. as the recipe called for) cranberries (I used the strained pulp and discarded the skins) 1/4 c. raisins (or 1 c. as the recipe called for, I think) 1 c. cranberry cooking liquid, with sediment (or 1 c. apple juice as the recipe called for) 2 tbs. arrowroot, moistened in some of the cooking liquid 1 tbs. cornstarch (my addition, it wasn't getting thick enough) Mix cooked apples (mashed) and cranberry pulp and raisins. Bring to heat, and add the liquid mixed with the arrowroot/cornstarch. Continue to stir as it boils and bubbles, using a wooden spoon. When thick, stop. :-)
