Very simple, and worthy of serving as a dessert to friends. I used the Morello cherries that are currently available at Trader Joe's. It's a cherry compote. CHERRY SOUP 1 part Morello cherry juice (say two cups) 1 part fatfree yogurt (say two cups) as many cherries as you want (say lots) Blend the cherry juice and the yogurt together. Drop in the cherries. Grab a spoon. I had a jar of cherries in the fridge and just scooped cherries and juice into a bowl and globbed some yogurt on top, then stirred it together. Looks like something from pastel-colored horror film, but tastes great. I'd recommend blending for the faint of heart!
