All
homework assignments and quizzes will be completed online using the
computerized homework system WebAssign. Every
student will have up to 100 attempts to correctly answer each homework
problem. Also, a 10% bonus is given for problems successfully completed 6
hours before each due date, so students will have the opportunity to exceed
100% on each homework assignment. With up to 100 attempts and the opportunity
for bonus, there is no reason for receiving less than 100% on any homework
assignment. Check WebAssign for all due dates and
times. The
quiz due dates are listed on the calendar above in red. You will have only
one attempt to answer each question on the quizzes and no bonus is awarded.
You can save your work on a quiz, but you cannot change an answer to a
problem that has already been submitted. Students
should visit the MA 15300 website and use the WebAssign Intro link under Online Homework to get
started. The recommended web browser when using WebAssign
is Mozilla Firefox. Technical problems have been reported in the past with
Internet Explorer, Google Crome, and Safari. It is highly recommended that you use
Mozilla Firefox when working on WebAssign. NO LATE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS
OR QUIZZES WILL BE ACCEPTED AND THERE ARE NO MAKE-UPS. AT THE END OF THE
SEMESTER, EACH STUDENTS LOWEST QUIZ SCORE AND FOUR LOWEST HOMEWORK SCORES
WILL BE DROPPED. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO START (OR COMPLETE) AN
ASSIGNMENT. EXAM
1: Monday, June 24 (covers Lessons 1 through 12) EXAM
3: Monday, July 22 (covers Lessons 24 through 34) The
Final Exam will be scheduled for July 31, August 1, or August 2. The date,
time and location will be available on the MA
15300 website
later in the semester. The
last day to
drop
the course is Wednesday, July 10. |
