The schedule above shows when each lesson will be covered for the in-class sections for MA 15300. Online students can choose whether they want to follow the above schedule or not. Either way, be sure you are scheduling time to watch the online lectures, review the PowerPoint presentations, and complete homework assignments and quizzes. Monday, March 23 is the last day to drop the course All homework assignments will be completed online using the computerized homework system WebAssign. You will have up to 100 attempts to answer each problem correctly, so there should be no reason why a student would not receive 100% on each homework assignment. Also, a 10% bonus is given for problems successfully completed at least 6 hours before the due date, so students will have the opportunity to exceed 100% on each assignment (check WebAssign for all due dates and times). Students should visit the MA 15300 website (www.math.purdue.edu/ma153) and
use the WebAssign Intro link under Online Homework
to get started. The recommended web browser when using WebAssign
is Mozilla Firefox. Technical problems have been reported in the past with
Internet Explorer, Google Crome, and Safari. It is highly recommended that you use
Mozilla Firefox when working on WebAssign. NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND THERE ARE NO MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENTS. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO START (OR COMPLETE) AN ASSIGNMENT. The quiz due dates are listed on the above calendar in
red. All quizzes will be completed online using WebAssign.
Each quiz is timed, questions may only be attempted once, and no bonus is
awarded. NO LATE QUIZZES WILL BE
ACCEPTED AND THERE ARE NO MAKE-UP QUIZZES. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE
TO START (OR COMPLETE) QUIZZES. Exams 1: Wednesday,
February 11 at 8:00PM in the Elliott Hall of Music, covering Lessons 1
through 12 Exams 2: Wednesday, March
11 at 8:00PM in the Elliott Hall of Music, covering Lessons 14 through 24 Exams 3: Monday, April 13

as soon as they are available. |
