Haizhao Yang to join faculty in Fall 2019


Dr. Haizhao Yang is joining the Department of Mathematics at Purdue University as an assistant professor. Previously, Dr. Yang was an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and an affiliate of the Institute of Data Science at the National University of Singapore (NUS) from 2017 to 2019.

Prior to joining NUS, Dr. Yang was a visiting assistant professor at Duke University from 2015 to 2017. Dr. Yang obtained his Ph.D. at Stanford University in 2015, M.S. at the University of Texas at Austin in 2012, and B.S. at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2010 all in applied mathematics.
