Prof. Saugata Basu named AMS Fellow

The Fellows program of the American Mathematical Society (AMS) is designed to recognize members who have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics.

Among those honored this year is Prof. Saugata Basu, cited for his contributions to algorithmic and quantitative real algebraic geometry, computational complexity, and o-minimal structures.
