 The two midterm exams will be free open response type problems and the final exam will be multiple choice. 
 Homework for the course consists of the following :
 Online homework problems.
MA 26600 uses WebAssign. After you have registered for the course you will be able to access the online homework problems here: WebAssign .

 Handwritten Homework
These problems will be turned in and hand graded. A list of handgraded homework sets for MA 26600 (as well a list of online homework problems) can be found on the Assignment Sheet .The handwritten homework consists of three types:
 Textbook problems.
 Supplemental problems.
(Note: in the Assignment Sheet, "1" refers to Problem 1 in the text book; "A" refers to Problem A in the supplemental problems; and "Project 1" refers to Matlab project 1.) In general homework will be due two class periods after the lesson has been covered. Online HW must be submitted by 11pm of the evening it is due and hand written HW is to be turned in at class time. The specific due dates are listed in your WebAssign Assignment List. Three Matlab projects:Project1; Project 2; Project 3.

Quizzes
There will be eleven quizzes given on Fridays during the last 15 minutes, starting week two and excluding the two weeks with midterms. The quizzes will usually come from previous homework problems or their variations.

Grade Policy:
There will be totally 600 points, which is distributed as follows:
Each of the two midterm exams is worth 100 points.
The common final exam is worth 200 points.
The homework and projects are worth 150 points
Quizzes are worth 50 points
NOTE : Late HW will not be accepted. Quizzes can not be made up. The three lowest homework scores and the lowest quiz score will be dropped. In the event of a prolonged absence you should contact the instructor ASAP.
