I am a PhD Candidate in Mathematics at Purdue University, co-advised by Fei Xue and Jing Wang. I specialize in Probabilistic Modeling, Stochastic Analysis, and High-Dimensional Statistical Inference. My research in Statistical Genetics centers on extracting signal from extremely noisy data, and I enjoy translating theoretical stochastic frameworks into practical, high-performance models, most recently as an AI Research Intern at Blue Wave AI Labs.
My foundation comes from Mathematical Olympiads, where I earned gold and silver medals at international university competitions. Since 2019 I have helped select and train Colombia’s national Olympiad teams, most recently as Deputy Leader of the Colombian team at the 67th IMO.
Research Interests
Stochastic Analysis, Statistical Genetics, Random Matrix Theory, Combinatorics, Number Theory, and Machine Learning. Read more on the research page, or see my publications and preprints.
