I am a graduate student (pronouns they/them) in the math department at Purdue University. I am interested von Neumann algebras, applications of operator algebras, and previously the joint spectrum of almost-community matrices. I am currently working with Rolando de Santiago. Math education is important to me and I have served as the primary instructor and teaching assistant for several courses. I received BS in mathematics from the University of New Mexico in 2019 and completed a undergraduate thesis under the guidance of Terry Loring. Since the summer of 2020, I have participated in my departments reading group on antiracism in and around mathematics.
