Grading policies

There will be online and handwritten homework given every week. The online homework need to be uploaded to MyLab Math. The handwritten homework should be submitted to Gradescope. Note that answers to all problems are provided at the end of the book, thus you should always show your work to receive credits. No points will be given if you only write the final answer. Normally, homework will be due every Tuesday at 11:00pm. Late homework will not be accepted.

There will be two in-class midterm exams and one final exam. (No notes, books, or calculators will be allowed during exams.) Each midterm exam will be worth 100 points, the homework grade will be scaled to 100 points, and the final will be worth 200 points, making a total of 600 points for the whole course.

Midterm I: Feb. 26, 8:00-9:00 PM.

Midterm II: April 03, 6:30-7:30 PM.

Final Exam Week: April 29 - May 4.
