We will use WebAssign online homework, you will need an account. I believe an account comes with some new books, or that you can buy a WebAssign account to use with a used book. There will be some homework problems to hand in on paper each week.
The programs dfield and pplane, needed for some of the homework problems, have been implemented as Java programs at this web page. Download the .jar files and follow the instructions on that page.
