Final Project
Deadline: Thur, 5/7, 12:00 noon.
An envelope will be attached to the door of my office MATH 610, starting Mon, 5/3. Please make sure to place the exam in the envelop before the deadline.
Final Score
Two schemes for calculating your final score will be used: with or without final project.
Scheme I = (3/11)ME1 + (3/11)ME2 + (3/11)FP + (2/11)HW
Scheme II = (3/8)ME1 + (3/8)ME2 + (1/4)HW
where FP, MEi, HW are the scores (in %) for Final Project, Midterm Exam i, Homework
You will have to contact me (by email) by Fri, May 1 (last day of classes) to opt out from completing the Final Project (Scheme II will be used). If you do not contact me by then, your score will be calculated according to Scheme I.
Midterm Exam 2
Sheduled Thur, 4/23, 12:00-1:30p in UNIV 119 (we will use 75 min of the class time + 15 min of the break)
The exam will be over topics covered from 3/5 to 4/16 (inclusive), see Course Log
We will have a review on Tue 4/21, during the class hours.
As before, the exam will be open book: you will be permitted to bring a clean copy of [B] to the exam. No other books or notes will be allowed.
Midterm Exam 1
Scheduled Tue, 03/10, 8:00p-9:30p, in MATH 215
The exam will cover topics covered from 1/13 up to 3/3 (inclusive), see Course Log
We will have a review on Tue 03/10, during the class hours.
The exam will be open book: you will be permitted to bring a copy of [B] to the exam. No other books or notes will be allowed (particularly, the copy of [B] that you bring should not contain any notes, but highlights are fine.)
