Regrades or late homework:

If you disagree with the grading on a homework, please contact TA about it within a week after the homeworks are graded.

Integrity:

Integrity: Academic integrity is expected of all students at all times in this course. You are free (even encouraged) to work with other students to solve the homework problems (talking about math may seem really geeky, but it can make learning the subject much easier and more fun). However, you are required to write up solutions to each assignment using your own words and explanations. Of course, you are required to do your own work on each exam (although you can prepare with others).

Make-up Policy:

There will be no make-up exams except in extreme circumstances (such as: death in immediate family, military obligation, etc.) at the discretion of the instructor. The instructor has to be informed IN ADVANCE by e-mail. You will be asked to provide proper documentation.

Attendance:

Class attendance is expected and I'll "spot check" attendance throughout the semester. I may deduct up to 3% of your grade if you miss more than two of those random checks.

Emergency Preparedness:

In the event of a major campus emergency, course requirements, deadlines and grading percentages are subject to changes that may be necessitated by a revised semester calendar or other circumstances beyond the instructor's control. The primary way to get information about changes in this course is via this webpage and the course Blackboard page. Learn more at https://www.purdue.edu/ehps/emergency_preparedness/
