Some Useful Software: PARI
You can implement PARI in UNIX by typing "gp". If it is not installed
on your system, let me know and I will work on getting it installed. I
will also work on getting PARI installed in the LAEB labs and elsewhere
on campus. E-mail me any suggestions about where it should be installed.
PARI can perform all sorts of interesting number theoretic operations. There
is a reasonably nice tutorial in Chapter 6 of the on line manual.
