(1) James Stewart: Calculus - Early Transcendentals, 6th edition
(2) WebAssign access code
You can buy the NEW Purdue Custom edition (from the University
Bookstore or Follett's). It comes with the WebAssign online access
code which allows you to have three (need not be consecutive)
semesters' access. Alternatively, you can also buy the book anywhere else
and purchase the
online access
code for one, two or three semesters' access. The online access
is equipped with the Stewart eBook option.
Some tips about using WebAssign.
(Note: as a rule of thumb, always input exact mathematical expression,
no approximations (by using calculators) unless otherwise told by
the questions. Capital and small letter variables Phi, phi, Pi, pi,
Theta, theta and so forth are treated as different variables.)
Your weekly activities include: online homeworks (submitted through WebAssign, due at 10pm);
review exercise (from Assignment sheet, to be handed in during
recitation);
quiz (during recitation).
Test One: 6:30-7:30pm, Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 Test Two: 6:30-7:30pm, Tuesday, Mar. 8, 2011 Test Three: 8:00-9:00pm, Tuesday, Apr. 12, 2011
