The Math Club had an exciting and productive year. Highlights included talks on "Gšdel's Incompleteness Theorem" by Professor Lipshitz, "Chaos Theory" by Professor Rodriguez (from Physics), "The History of Mathematics" by Professor Gottlieb, and "Number Theory" by Professor Goldberg. Brian Singer built an excellent math club home page.
Plans for next year include a Math Department chess tournament and the "grand opening" of the math major lounge, which has finally been furnished and is set to go. We also plan to resume our highly successful program of faculty/student brown bag luncheons.
