Homeworks:

Homeworks will be collected every Monday in class and some of them will be graded. Late homeworks will not be accepted. Please read the book before and after the class. Attendance and doing homework assignments are very important for your success in this class.

There are several in class short quizzess, one in-class midterm exam and a comprehensive final exam. Calculators, books and notes are not allowed during the quizs and exams.

Grading Policy:

Your course grade will be determined as follows: 20% from quizs, 20% from mid-term exam, 30% from the final exam and 30% from homeworks.

Make-up Policy:

There will be no make-up exams except in extreme circumstances (such as: death in immediate family, military obligation, etc.) at the discretion of the instructor. The instructor has to be informed IN ADVANCE by e-mail. You will be asked to provide proper documentation.
