Grading policies

Written homework will be collected roughly once a week.
Only 4 problems will be graded by the grader per week.
Each problem will be worth five points and so each
written homework assignment will be graded on a scale
of 0 to 20. See the Groundrules on the main MA 266 Home
Page for more information about grades and grading.

There will be two in-class midterm exams and one final exam.
No notes, books, or calculators will be allowed during exams.
Each hour exam will be worth 100 points, the homework, project,
quizzes grade will be scaled to 200 points, and the final will
be worth 200 points, making a total of 600 points for the
whole course.
