Problem Solving Seminar

This is the archived webpage for the problem solving seminar of the graduate student chapter of the AMS at Rochester, which was organized by me for the 2019-2020 academic year. The current organizer for these events is Donggeun Ryou, please contact him for more current information.

These sessions are meant to discuss problems that graduate students have been working on, or thinking about, or want to share with other students from the department. Ideally, the problems discussed are meant to be the kind that can be solved in a short session, as a change of pace against how mathematical research often is. However, there is no restriction on what type of problems can be discussed.

Problem sets for each session are usually created by the organizer, however, participants are encouraged to bring their own problems they wish to discuss.
