Learning seminar on Hodge modules

About 30 years ago, Morihiko Saito gave a far reaching extension of classical Hodge theory in the following
  1. Modules de Hodge polarisibles
  2. Mixed Hodge modules
The goal will be to learn the basics probably following one or more of the expositions:
  1. Hotta, Takeuchi, Tanisaki, D-modules, Perverse sheaves, and Representation theory
  2. From classical Hodge theory to Hodge modules
  3. Schnell:An overview of Morihiko Saito's theory of mixed Hodge modules
  4. Sabbah, Schnell: The MHM project
and then go learn some of the applications...
